The operating area covers about 80 km2 in Amsterdam. It’s roughly all inside the Ringweg Amsterdam A10 and Arena, IJburg and the Zuidas.

You can drive freely around the operating area. And you have unlimited use of all the advantages and guaranteed services that car2go offers. car2go is not operational outside this area. We therefore advise not to use your car2go outside the operating area. In this way you’ll avoid high costs if things go wrong.

• Step in anywhere. You can find the nearest car via the handy car2go-app or on the website. Or at almost every corner of the street.
• Free parking everywhere. You don’t have to look for a fixed parking place. You can use any vacant, permissible place. You can also use several parking places at 6 Q-Park branches.
• Step out anywhere. You just leave your car2go at a place that suits you. You don’t have to take your car back to a depot or to the place where you got in. Saves time in other words.
