Reserve your car2go.
You have two options for locating and reserving a car2go vehicle. You can reserve a car2go up to 24 hours in advance online or via the car2go call center, or you may spontaneously rent a vehicle you find in the car2go operating area. If you reserve a vehicle online/via the customer call center, you will receive a text message with all required information 15 minutes before the rental is to begin.
Having text capabilities is required.
If you come across a car2go vehicle in the operating area and wish to rent it on the spot, simply check the special card reader installed on the windshield. A light signal will show if the vehicle is available or reserved. (Green = available, yellow = reserved, red = not available)
