You can unlock the car2go vehicle with your member card. Simply press and hold your member card to the card reader on the windshield. If the vehicle is available, the door opens and your rental begins.

After boarding, you must enter your personal identification number (PIN), assess the cleanliness of the vehicle, and confirm that the vehicle is not damaged. All previously known damage is displayed on the monitor. If you notice any new damage, simply press “Report new damage.” You will be connected to the customer call center via a hands-free unit so you can report the damage. If you enter your PIN incorrectly, press the orange DEL button (for “delete”). Then simply enter the correct PIN and confirm with “OK.”
