Several car2go functions can be intuitively controlled using the onboard touchscreen, with many features that make operating the vehicle even easier. The touchscreen guides you through PIN entry, evaluation, and call center team contact, and it has touch controls for the radio and navigation system.

Navigation to Destination.

Every car2go is equipped with a navigation system controlled through the onboard touchscreen. Type in your destination and starting point, and let the navigation system guide you where you’re going.

The navi system also offers the option of directly locating destinations by name, such as restaurants, stores, hospitals, etc. Select your destination and the system will automatically set the route. It’s so totally car2go.

The Key to Mobility.

When you register as a car2go member you will create a 4-digit PIN. You must enter this PIN to operate the car2go vehicle. If you accidentally enter the wrong PIN, press the orange DEL button (delete). Then simply enter the correct PIN and confirm with OK.

If you enter the wrong PIN three times in a row you will be denied access for security reasons. But all is not lost. You will be automatically connected to the customer call center via the vehicle’s hand-free unit and a text message with a valid PIN will be sent. Remember your answer to your security question? This is where you are going to be asked your answer for security reasons.
