Registering with car2go is simple, fast and easy using the Internet. In just a few minutes online you can become a part of the car2go mobility movement. Simply follow the registration prompts. As soon as your registration is approved* you will receive your Member Card in the mail and you'll be ready to get a car and experience the city in style.

If you prefer to register in person, just come by the car2go Austin shop located in downtown Austin at 800 W. 5th Street, Suite 100B, at the corner of West Avenue and W. 5th St., adjacent to Shoal Creek. Be sure to bring your valid U.S. driver's license and a valid Visa or MasterCard with you. Registration will only take a few minutes*, and you can experience firsthand one of the great neighborhoods in downtown Austin.

If at any point you would like to have your Member Card deactivated, you can also do that online or in person at our offices.
