Administering car2go is exceptionally easy for business customers: you nominate an administrator within your company for car2go, who is then fully authorized for all car2go matters. You also select an accountant for invoices and complaints, as well as a driver manager. The latter takes care of reservations and invites company drivers. These clearly defined roles ensure that companies can use car2go in a flexible and economical manner, and that sensitive data is managed confidentially within the company.

HOW DO YOU NOMINATE A DRIVER MANAGER?

Driver managers can only be registered by an administrator in the internal area. The future driver manager then receives an e-mail asking them to register at car2go. If they are already registered with car2go as a private customer or company driver, then they will automatically be recognized as a driver manager when logging in.

HOW DO DRIVER MANAGERS INVITE NEW DRIVERS?

In the closed area of the Website, administrators and driver managers can invite employees to use car2go at the company’s expense. If the drivers who are being invited are not yet registered at car2go, then they receive an e-mail requesting them to do so. As soon as they have entered their details and had their driver’s license equipped with the car2go chip, new drivers are notified by e-mail that the chip has been activated and that they can use car2go.
