Accidents happen. Keep calm and let the initial shock pass. After that you are obliged to ring up our damage management hotline (see below). If anybody else was involved in the accident then you must also contact the police.

Be sure to play it safe and put on the fluorescent waistcoat which is located in the lower section of the tailgate. There you will also find the vehicle registration papers. Next you should make sure that the vehicle is in a place where it does not endanger other traffic. You will find the warning triangle and first aid kit behind the driver’s seat.

Once you have informed damage management, everything takes its course. They will take down all the details of the accident or breakdown, and you will be given an incident number for subsequent processing. You will then be given the address of the authorized mechanic you should bring your vehicle to, assuming that it can still be driven.
