GETTING IN GEAR.

Driving in the city means getting into gear – sometimes literally. In the smart fortwo mhd that’s very easy: you can choose between automatic and manual shift. When you start the car2go, it is always set to the mode which the driver before has used. However, we recommend choosing the automatic mode, since it is more economical and gentler on the automobile.

GET A GRIP.

The first time you open the car2go's two-section tailgate, it may feel a bit unfamiliar. But that all changes when you put your hand into the recess on the upper edge. There you will find the unlocking sensor. Activate it, and fold the rear window upwards. The lower tailgate flap is just as easy to open: undo the locks on either side and it opens up. Now you're ready to put in all your shopping!
