car2go DC provides a simple, fair price structure: an attractive standard price of just 38 cents per minute plus tax, which includes the costs of fuel*, parking, service, insurance, maintenance, mileage, etc.
The more time you drive in one rental, the cheaper it gets. One hour** costs a maximum of $13.99 plus tax, and one day** (up to 24 hours) is no more than $72.99 plus tax. A good bargain would be renting for 24 hours, for example, from noon one day until noon the following day. That’s a lot of mobility for not much cost.
There are no security deposits, monthly fees or reservation charges. In fact, many of our members have discovered that if they want to skip the hassles of car ownership or conventional car rental, all they need is get a car2go membership.

Good to Know
Please note: You can drive as long and as far as you like, just be aware that every mile over 150 miles will be charged at 45 cents per mile.
Important: car2go DC members are responsible for all costs related to damage occurring during a reservation, as well as extreme soiling of the car2go, any driving or parking offenses, and violations of the valid terms of use.
